Show not Tell….

This photo captures a moment of my daughter watching me speak at my book launch earlier this year, showing her that pursuing our passions is always worthwhile.

Parenting, much like our work environments, is a constantly evolving journey.

We all grow, we transform, and the world around us shifts, both personally and professionally.

Through all these changes, we must remain true to our stories and take responsibility for the aspects of ourselves that may not serve us or those around us.

This idea is central to the documentary I watched last night, called "Seen."

I highly recommend watching it, and I really connected with it because it aligns with the main theme of my book, "The Courage to Speak Your Truth."

I can’t dictate how my daughter or son should navigate their lives, but I can model authenticity and support them as they seek their own truths, passions, and purposes.

This principle of leading by example applies equally to how we interact with our teams in a professional setting. Showing people it is safe to be ourselves and speak our truth.

Let’s commit to this journey together, recognising that being present is one of the most meaningful gifts we can give to those who look to us for guidance, helping them discover who they are and who they aspire to be. 🌱
